The Laboratory Manager position is responsible for management of all laboratory resources, from staff to equipment, to supplies.. In our new constructed state of the art facilities, your duty is to ensure safe delivery of lab services on a 24/7 basis, which include professional care, and giving support to clinicians . This position is responsible for quality assurance, monitoring and amending as needed LEAN initiatives, Performance Improvement, submission and monitoring of annual budgets, maintaining adequate staffing levels, and representation of laboratory services through various corporate committees. Responsibilities include providing staff orientation, as well as training and ensuring all staff competencies. We require exceptional laboratory skills combined with above average leadership skills, which should complement your knowledge of regulatory agency standards.
YKDRH Clinical Laboratory is a College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited.
Qualifications: •BS in Medical Technology or related science with a Medical Technology internship. •Five (5) years working in a laboratory. •National Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist, ASCP, AMT, or equivalent qualification.
