Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Schedules and coordinates tests and prepares and maintains operational logs. Records test results and updates patient records for referring physicians. Maintains and calibrates equipment, and orders necessary supplies.
Certifications required: ARDMS, RVT, and BCLS
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program
Minimum of 1 year verifiable, general ultrasound experience, Minimum 2 years verifiable, vascular ultrasound experience preferred
Some training/exposure to all modalities of Radiology (i.e. CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc)
Documented Training in: Customer Service,Communication, and Leadership
Basic PC, HIS, RIS, & MS Office, PACS knowlege
Advanced knowledge of US imaging & image distribution equipment. General office equipment
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be flexible
