Performs and supervises all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging with a high level of competency and professionalism. Expected to maintain high standards of technical competence in all of general radiology and be an example and assist other technical personnel and student radiographers within the department. Responsible for maintaining an stocking of supplies, rooms and equipment. Must demonstrate good organizational skills in order to maintain efficient work flow and adaptability in accommodating emergency and add-on exams. Technologists are required to participate in on-call coverage for the modality as part of the essentials of the job requirements.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
Graduate of an approved Program of Radiologic Technology
ARRT registered in good standing
Current BLS Certification
Current Florida License
Minimum of one (1) year previous radiology experience
