Provides medical care to patients under the direction of a supervising physician. Examines, evaluated and treats patients with medical conditions, illness or injuries. Augments a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients; collects and documents data; conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physician in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and services for quality patient care; records the normal and abnormal data for review by the physician.
Associates in Nursing or Health Science OR
Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of two years of work experience in a clinical cardiac services setting.
Minimum of one year experience with device interrogation and programming.
Documented training in cardiac device care will be considered.
Cardiac arrhythmia class must be taken within 6 months of hire.
