Must be able to master knowledge of all Radiological interventional procedures, catheters, wires, stents and equipment. Performs all diagnostic examinations including EP, IR and Cardiac Cath Lab. Technical skills may include advance computer knowledge used in performing exams in specialty areas and imaging, assisting physician with various tasks. Good communication skills and professional ethics are required. Able to learn sterile technique. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and wear protective lead apron (equipment). Required to participate in on-call coverage as part of the modality of the essential of the job requirement, must be able to respond to the hospital when on call within 30 minutes when activated. Responsible with helping to maintain and stock supplies, rooms and equipment. On the job training in cardiac hemodynamics and assisting physicians in diagnostic and percutaneous coronary interventions, electrophysiology and structural heart cases provided.

Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Graduate of an approved Program of Radiologic Technology
Professional demeanor and appearance
RCIS within 12 months of hire into the position
