Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time

Monday - Friday

8am-4:30pm

You Will Be Responsible For:

·         Performs microscopic examination of both non-gynecologic and gynecologic specimens for evidence of precancerous lesions, cancer, inflammatory processes, organisms and other pathological conditions

·         Enters diagnosis into the LIS system

·         Tracks daily slide screening and other cytology QA/QC

·         Processes gynecologic, non-gynecologic & fine needle aspiration (FNA) specimens

·         Assists pathologist on FNA/core biopsy (ROSE) procedures in special radiologic settings

·         Maintains equipment and supplies

·         Follows all established policies and procedures

·         Performs other duties at the discretion of the supervisor
