Description Pediatric Ultrasound Sonographer- FT and PRN (Variable Shifts) Requisition # 1903154 Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Required Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (or equivalent experience) and 1 year relevant experience **Pediatric Experience Preferred* Your Role: Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. As a VCH Pediatric Sonographer PRN you will facilitate quality patient care by performing ultrasound exams and related functions as requested.

They need extra safeguards and care. Our team has the experience and training to keep your child safe while providing accurate medical images. Our goal is to exceed families' and referring physicians' expectations with our imaging and interpretation. We support the Image Gently Alliance for Radiation Safety in Pediatric Imaging, dedicated to raising awareness of lower radiation doses in the imaging of children. Children's Hospital also supports and practices the radiation safety principle of ALARA, an acronym for "as low as reasonably achievable."
