The Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist is assigned to the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Care line of the Houston VA Medical Center. He/She treats malignant and non-malignant cancer utilizing ionizing radiation. He/She operates ionizing radiation equipment in the Radiation Oncology department as part of simulation planning and therapeutic treatment. The Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist at a GS-10 level carries out their assigned tasks in all areas of radiation therapy independently.
