Rutgers School of Health Professions is a division of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS), New Jersey's premiere academic health center, providing outstanding education, research and clinical services in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, nursing, biomedical research, and the full spectrum of health professions. RBHS has also recently launched Rutgers Health, a patient-centered, collaborative and interprofessional healthcare provider organization offering statewide services.
SHP is the largest school of health professions in the nation with seven core departments offering Baccalaureate to Doctoral level programs as well as numerous post-professional certifications. The Department of Clinical Laboratory and Medical Imaging Sciences (CLMIS) is a nationally recognized leader in educational programming and the CLS division offers the first professional Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science (DCLS) program in the nation, an MS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences with tracks in Medical Laboratory Science and Cytopathology, and an undergraduate BS level program in Medical Laboratory Science.
