Blood Bank Lead General Laboratory Technologist encompassing all areas of a busy 24/7 hospital laboratory. Technical areas include, but are not limited to, hematology, chemistry, serology, microbiology, immunohematology, and urinalysis. Phlebotomy skills are required occasionally. Additional duties specific to section supervisor include responsibility for quality control, training, and implementation of new technologies.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Graduate of a school with B.S. in a healthcare related field. Successful completion of a 1 year internship at an accredited facility. Minimum 3 years experience as a CLS I. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum: Current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) licensure.
