The incumbent, as the PACS Administrator Assistant, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the PACS/RIS equipment including image workflow, archiving, auto routing, prefetching and other related activities. This position requires related clinical experience with a clear understanding of the working radiology environment. Please Note: First consideration will go to current permanent employees of the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC), second consideration will go to all other VA employees, and third consideration will then extend out to all other eligible candidates. Duties: Responsible for day-to-day PACS operations Manages and coordinates system security Assists end users with PACS-related issues Provides input to Imaging Service management Monitors and manages PACS/Voice Recognition databases Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
