Individualizemedication regimensusing sound principles,accounting forp harmacodynamic andpharmacokinetic variationsin drug absorption, distribu tion, metabolismand elimination withresponsibility forestablishing and c ontinually improving the deliveryof pharmaceutical caretopatients within areas of direct responsibility andassisting others inthe department wi th the same. Conduct and participate in research including, but not limi ted to,performing as the primaryinvestigator or co-investigator for rese arch programs which will impacton the delivery of qualitycare or examine the pharmacoeconomic impact of providingcare to thepatients in the Duke Health System.
