Plans, provides, and evaluates procedures and techniques; acts as a resource and trainer for section employee's system wide. Competent and comfortable scanning all advanced procedures.
Continually seeks out new information and technologies to improve workflow performance.
Performs scans at the optimal quality level system wide to abide by a standardized imaging protocol for all studies.
Serves as a resource person to technologists and aids; provides training to new and existing hires regarding new procedures, techniques and equipment through the entire health system.
Participates in special projects as assigned.
Acts as preceptor during new employee orientation.
Evaluates overall training effectiveness; provides input regarding employee's clinical competency.
Participates in intra-and-interdisciplinary programs upon request.
Develops and promotes strong interpersonal relations to enhance achievement of divisional goals.
Documents activities to meet annual requirements, as required.
Consults with department personnel and medical staff to resolve clinical and technical problems.

Must have 5+ years' experience in MRI.

Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology (Required)
Minimum of 5 years-Related work experience (Required), -Managing people, processes, or projects (Preferred)
Certification(s) and License(s)
Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
