This position will be located in the Pathology and Lab service with the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS). Incumbent will serve as the supervisor for Medical Technicians with responsibility for preanalytic specimen processing and moderate complexity testing in the areas of Urinalysis, Phlebotomy, fecal immunochemical test (FIT) Immunochemical Assay Testing, Point of Care Ancillary Testing. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), No person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
