Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full time Sonography Technologist for the US Imaging Department at Newton Medical Center to work a varied shift, including weekends. This position also has an on-call requirement.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment.
Perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.
High School diploma or GED required
Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
5+ years experience performing Ultrasound in the hospital setting
ARDMS + RVT a plus
Candidate must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting
Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player preferred
