Functioning under moderate supervision, the EchoCardiograph Technologist operates imaging equipment to produce images of the heart for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Cardiologist or Lead Echo Technologist.

• SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of anatomical positioning and human physiology required.
• Ability to perform high-quality M-mode, two-dimensional, Doppler (including pulsed, continuous wave and color doppler) and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Ability to perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms.
• The ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of all patient and departmental documents as required.
• Ability to demonstrate personal motivation, team orientation and professionalism.
