The incumbent serves as Medical Technician (Phlebotomist) for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services (PALMS) at the Wyoming VA Clinic. These positions are located within the Ancillary Service of the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The majority of the incumbent's day will be spent performing routine venipuncture specimen collections. In addition to performing phlebotomy, the incumbent will be assigned to various duties according to the need of the laboratory.
