Location: 500 REMINGTON BLVD, Bolingbrook, 60440
The role you’ll contribute:
Performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.
Performs routine and complex studies and assists physician in a variety of imaging procedures.
Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
Graduate of a two year allied health program Preferred
Must have experience with biopsies and procedures
Previous experience Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Abdomen (ARDMSAB) Registry Eligible Medical Sonography Tech Required
Must have breast scanning experience
