We currently have the following opportunities to work in our state-of-the-art labs:
CYTOTECHNOLOGIST We’re currently seeking a Cytotechnologist to analyze and interpret cellular changes caused by disease processes. Performs a microscopic examination of the slides to detect cellular change and prepares initial findings. Routes preliminary findings to Pathologist for final diagnosis of disease.
What You’ll Do: • Prepare cell samples for microscopic examination by making smears of cell samples and staining the slides • Perform a microscopic examination of the slides to detect cellular change and prepare initial findings • Route preliminary findings to Pathologist for final diagnosis of disease
Qualifications: • Minimum of two (2) years of University and above course work • Completion of Cytology curriculum in an ASCP approved School of Cytotechnology • Valid State of California license for cytotechnologists • Five (5) years of experience as a cytotechnologist • Successful completion of CLIA '88 Proficiency Testing
Compensation: • Hourly range: $69.33 – $90.34 USD, based on experience and qualifications
CYTOLOGY SUPERVISOR $10,000 Sign-On Bonus! Our team is looking for a Cytology Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision for all aspects of the Cytology laboratory, including formulating policy and procedures, personnel management, quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a science related field • Five (5) years of experience as a Cytotechnologist • Two (2) years of Cytology Supervisory experience preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills required • Cytotechnologist Certificate - ASCP Board of Certification • Cytotechnologist License - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Services
Compensation: • Hourly range: $64.94 – $97.41 USD, based on experience and qualifications
