JOB SUMMARYThe Supervisor of Lab Support Services supervises the routine activities of the Laboratory Support services department which includes Specimen Processing, Newborn Screen processing, Referral testing and Client Services. Assists the manager as defined by the laboratory or laboratory section policy, with staff hiring, training, performance/counseling, payroll and any other needed duties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEProvides on-site supervision and troubleshooting for specimen receiving and processing, Referral testing and Client Services communicating with the Manager as needed.
