The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University, within Eastern Virginia Medical Group (EVMG), is seeking an outstanding Ultrasonographer to join the team.

Position Overview
Under the direction of a qualified physician, the Ultrasonographer independently performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring a high degree of technical skill, accuracy, and professional judgment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform standard gynecologic ultrasound examinations
• Conduct 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound assessments of female pelvic organs and the pelvic floor, based on clinical indication
• Perform Pelvic Floor Ultrasound (PFUS) examinations, including:
• Perineal PFUS
• Introital PFUS
• Endovaginal ultrasound (EVUS)
  (Additional training will be provided for candidates without prior PFUS experience)

Education & Experience

• Associate degree or successful completion of a radiologic technology program and a medical sonography program
• ARRT and/or ARDMS registration in Obstetrics/Gynecology required
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience
• Pelvic Floor Ultrasound experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and competitive within the regional market.
