Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI)
The incumbent is responsible for setting up and positioning patients, providing immobilization devices, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, and operating the scanner equipment. This individual must be expert in performing modalities and be able to prioritize the urgency of their work to maintain optimum patient care in both areas. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Certification: All applicants must be certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R).
